Is the cotton truly safe for newborn skin?
Yes — every fabric is GOTS-certified organic cotton from regenerative farms in Portugal and Turkey. Free from azo dyes, formaldehyde, phthalates, BPA, and chlorine bleach. Tested to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class I — the strictest tier, designed for items in contact with newborn skin.
What does "GOTS-certified" actually mean?
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is the most rigorous certification in textiles. It governs the entire chain — from how the cotton seed is grown to how the final piece is dyed. No pesticides, no toxic dyes, no synthetic blends, fair labor practices. Each Lullary piece can be traced back to its field.
Are the dyes safe?
Yes. We use only low-impact, OEKO-TEX certified dyes. Our most popular pieces are undyed — the natural cream colour you see is the raw cotton itself.
Sizing & Fit
How does sizing work?
We use a grow-with-baby cut — slightly generous at the limbs, secure at the closures. If your baby is between sizes, size up. They'll wear the piece for 2–3 months longer.
My baby was born small. What size should I order?
If your baby was born under 6 lbs / 2.7 kg, start with our preemie / 0–1m. If you're unsure, message us with the birth weight and current weight — we'll recommend a size personally.
Will it shrink after washing?
Pre-shrunk during production. Expect 1–2% movement after the first wash, which is normal for organic cotton. We account for this in our cut.

When will my order ship?
US orders ship within 24 hours. Express: 1–2 business days. Standard: 3–7 business days. Free shipping on orders over $60.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — to most of Europe, the UK, Canada, and Australia. Duties and taxes are calculated at checkout (no surprises at the door).
What's your return policy?
Soft 30-day returns. If a piece didn't fit your chapter — for any reason — we'll exchange it or refund you in full. We pay return shipping on US orders over $60. Full policy here →
Care & Wear
How should I wash it?
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a pH-neutral detergent. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Avoid bleach, fabric softener, and dryer sheets — they coat the fibers and reduce softness over time.
Will it stay soft?
Organic cotton actually gets softer with every wash, not harsher. Our pieces are designed for 18+ months of regular wear and washing.
Can I tumble dry?
Yes, low heat. For the longest life of the piece, we recommend hanging dry — but we know mothers don't always have that luxury at 11pm.
